Meet Our Pastor

Garrett serves as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of New Castle, where he joyfully leads the congregation to grow in Christlikeness as they treasure Jesus Christ together.

A Kentucky native, Garrett earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. While serving as an Associate Pastor in Jackson, Michigan, he completed a Master of Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids. Prior to coming to First Baptist Church in 2026, Garrett served as an Associate Pastor in Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy in New Testament at Southern Seminary.

Garrett and his wife, Joy, enjoy time with their three daughters.
