PRECAUTIONS!

 Church Family,
Until further notice, all church programming and services will continue without interruption.  However, we are taking precautions in lieu of the virus due to members of our church family who may be more at risk.  With this in mind, here are some of the steps we are taking, and steps that we are asking that you take as well to help limit the spread of this corona-virus.
1.  If you are sick, stay home.  Services will be streamed via YouTube.  You can mail your tithe in.  You can call people you need to talk to.  Help is here if you need it.  Otherwise . . . we love you, but stay away from us!
2.  If you are older, have a compromised immune system, or are at risk of complications due to this virus please stay home.  While this virus is not a great threat to folks with robust immune systems, it can cause complications for folks with more vulnerable immune systems due to age or underlying health conditions.  Don't take unnecessary risks till we better understand what is going on.
3.  If you think you may have the symptoms, call your doctor and ask what they would like for you to do.  There may not be testing kits available at the doctors office or the hospital so call first.  Furthermore, they do not want you to come in if you think you may have symptoms and are only mildly ill.  Call your doctor first to avoid possibly infecting others, wasting your time and others, and to avoid a potential unwanted stay at the hospital while they figure out what to do with you and the other 400 people that did not listen to this advice.
4.  Wash your hands, avoid touching your face and take precautions.  This is not new info but please do it.  Even if you are not worried about getting sick, think about those in your world that could be greatly impacted by this virus.  Until testing kits are more available around us, we do not know how far the infection has spread.  One of us could already have it and never know it.
5.  Megan cleans the church on a weekly basis.  However, she does not do the type of cleaning that would be necessary to stop the spread of the virus in our church.  If you would like to volunteer to come and help sanitize the church before our Sunday service please contact Kevin or Angela.  Also, be prayerful about whether or not you are willing to join a team to help get food, medicine, necessities to our friends and family in the community that choose to quarantine themselves because they are sick, or they want to limit their exposure.
Our God is greater than any virus and we will get through this!  We need to remain prayerful.  We need to keep our heads.  And we need to take the necessary precautions to try and limit the spread of this virus.  Please stay tuned in to announcements from us and from the authorities.  If you have any questions or concerns please call Pastor Kevin at 502-439-7739 or Angela Buckler at 502-321-5135.
